I found this when looking for tool...Great article!<br /><br />I found this when looking for tools to extract the full codec string from an MP4. For anyone else on this search, I recommend MP4Box.js (no affiliation). This is hosted here:<br />http://download.tsi.telecom-paristech.fr/gpac/mp4box.js/filereader.html<br /><br />To get the codec string, click the dropdown under "Load:" and choose "File". Then select your mp4.
